New Registration Information
for Incoming Kindergarten Students & New Students to Hahaione ONLY
We have two (2) options for new students to register for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
Option 1 (preferred):
Parents/Guardians may pick up a registration packet from our school office from Monday to Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Our office is closed on State holidays. A list of the required documentation is listed below in "Registration Checklist".
Option 2 - Hawai‘i Department of Education (HIDOE) Online Registration (OLR):
Prior to completing the online registration, please have the following mandatory documents ready to be uploaded:
A valid photo ID of the parent/guardian enrolling the child (e.g. driver’s license, passport, State ID)
Completed Enrollment Form (SIS-10W). A link is in the Registration Checklist and in the online registration links below.
Birth certificate of the student enrolling. If your child is from a foreign country, the student’s passport or visa is acceptable.
Proof of residence (rental/lease agreement; mortgage document; current real property assessment document with the parent’s name; utility bill for water, gas, electric, or landline phone; or a notarized statement verifying current address)

** After completing the online registration, there are other school forms and documentation that must be submitted before your child can start school.

Registration Checklist:
Child's original birth certificate or passport
1 Proof of Residency (Landline phone bill, Electric bill, Water bill, Gas bill, Cable bill, Rental/Lease Agreement, Mortgage Statement)
If the above documents are not in your name, a notarized residence verification letter is required along with the above utility bill.
Student Health Record Form 14 with current immunizations (from Preschool or Doctor)
Current TB Test (cleared within 12 months of registration)
Court Documents (if any)
School Records (if coming from out-of-state or private school)
Certificate of Release (if coming from another school)

Student Registration Information for the 2024-2025 School Year:
Kindergarten Registration Starts January 8, 2024
Geographic Exception (GE) Forms Due Between January 1, 2024 and March 1, 2024
Grades 1-5 Registration Starts June 3, 2024
Hard copies of registration forms can be picked up in the school office during business hours
